Every loadout is built from ten pieces of gear — each carrying a locked default roll, four lines waiting to be tuned, and two attunements fighting over one active slot. This ledger lays out the anatomy of a piece, the stats worth chasing, and the milestones that make a build actually land its damage.

Anatomy of a Gear Piece

01
Blank lines roll random — always burn a golden or rainbow shell on them to guarantee the gold-quality result. Anything less is a wasted tune.
02
A stat line can be retuned endlessly, but there's a 7-day cooldown per retune — and while one line is locked into that cooldown, no other line on the same piece can be retuned.
03
Attunement is different: reroll it as many times as your resources allow, with no cooldown. But only one of General or Arena can be active at a time — swap freely between them.

The Triple Rate Target
For most builds — outside Bellstrike Path and Stonesplit Might — these three rates are the milestones. Push past the effective cap and the extra rolls do nothing.
Precision RateEffective 100% · Total ~115%
Critical RateEffective 70–80% · Total ~115%
Affinity RateEffective 10–20% · Total ~30%
Standard Content
2,200 – 2,400
Max Physical Attack, paired with the Triple Rate above and a proper skill rotation.
High-End Content · Tier 91
3,000 – 3,200
The number to aspire to right now. It climbs as gear tiers rise.
Healers: drop Affinity Rate entirely — the freed-up rolls go straight into pushing Max Physical Attack higher.
04
What to Chase, What to Cut
Maximizing damage is as much about avoiding dead rolls as it is about chasing the right ones.
Chase — in priority order
1Max Physical Attack
2Power (↑ Physical Attack)
3Momentum (↑ Max Phys. Attack + Affinity)
4Critical Rate
5Precision Rate
6Affinity Rate
Cut — low priority stats
✕Physical Defense
✕Max HP
✕Defense
✕Max / Min Off-Path Physical Attack
✕Max / Min Path Physical Attack
Discard the piece if its default roll is one of these, or if two or more of its rolls fall on this list.
Weapons
Tune pieces whose default roll is already Max Physical Attack, Power, or Momentum — don't fight the default.
Watch for: "Art of [Weapon] DMG Boost"
Disc & Pendant
Default roll should be Max Physical Attack. Of the remaining four lines, aim for at least three that boost Max Physical Attack.
Watch for: "All Martial Arts Boost"
Defensive Pieces
Default roll of Power, Momentum, or one of the Triple Rates. Keep 3+ Max Physical Attack lines, plus enough Triple Rate lines to hit milestones.
Balances the whole build's Triple Rate
05
Above All Other Rolls
These two rolls outrank every other damage stat — and neither can be obtained through retuning, which is what makes them rare.
Weapon Only
Art of [Weapon] DMG Boost
e.g. "Art of Sword DMG Boost." Cannot be earned by retuning — it has to roll naturally, which makes it especially rare on a weapon that already has strong stats.
Swords · Bows · All Weapon Types
Disc & Pendant Only
All Martial Arts Boost
The Disc and Pendant equivalent of the weapon roll above. Same rule applies: it can't be retuned into existence, only rolled.
Disc · Pendant
06
Bow & Ring Set Bonus
From Tier 91 onward, a purple- or gold-quality Bow and Ring grant a selectable set bonus. Use it to patch whichever Triple Rate stat is closest to its milestone but not quite there.
